1. Who can take part?
  • By participating in the Northern Energy Gas & Heltor ‘Recommend a Friend’ Scheme, you confirm your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
  • To participate in the offer, the recommender must be a current Heltor heating oil customer.
  • The friend being recommended (‘the referred customer’) must be a new Northern Energy Gas LPG customer and must not have help an account with Northern Energy Gas within the last 24 months.
  • The referred customer must be a domestic bulk LPG user with a minimum annual usage of 3,000 litres.
  • The referred customer must have a legally sited bulk LPG tank and be within the Northern Energy Gas delivery area.
  • The referred customer must successfully complete the sign-up process and receive their first LPG delivery from Northern Energy Gas.
  1. How the Scheme Works

2.1 Heltor will invite their Oil customers to recommend a friend who uses LPG.

2.2 The recommended friend will contact Northern Energy Gas on 01182 229 4747, quote REFER50 and give the go-ahead to switch to Northern Energy Gas for the supply of their domestic LPG.

  1. Rewards

3.1 Once the referred customer has become a live Northern Energy Gas customer and has received their first LPG delivery:

  • The recommender will receive a £50 credit on their Heltor account.
  • The referred customer will receive a £50 LPG credit on their Northern Energy Gas account.

3.2 Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another customer.

3.3 Credits will be applied within 30 days of the referred customer meeting all qualifying criteria.

  1. Limits & Exclusions

4.1 Multiple recommendations from the same Heltor customer are permitted, but each referral must be for a different new customer.
